+ What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit is conversational. Connie reviews your health history, listens to what brings you in, and recommends a personalized approach. The session typically lasts 60–90 minutes and includes a consultation and treatment.
+ How do I book an appointment?
You can request an appointment online through the booking page, call the clinic at (647) 234-5889, or email hello@tcmacupuncture.ca. Appointments are confirmed directly by the clinic.
+ Where is the clinic located?
TCMA Acupuncture is located at 800 Bathurst Street, Unit 403, in the Bathurst Medical and Dental Center, near Bathurst and Bloor in Toronto. The clinic is close to Bathurst Station with street parking available nearby.
+ What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to arms, legs, neck, and back where possible. Loose sleeves and pant legs are helpful depending on the treatment area.
+ What services are offered?
TCMA Acupuncture offers acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine consultations, herbal medicine, cupping therapy, and moxibustion. Each treatment plan is personalized to your needs.
+ Do you offer herbal medicine consultations?
Yes. Herbal medicine consultations are available. Formulas are selected based on your individual pattern, constitution, and wellness goals. Herbal medicine can be used alone or alongside acupuncture.
+ Is cupping therapy available?
Yes. Cupping therapy is available and may be recommended based on your individual needs. It uses suction to support circulation, release muscle tension, and help the body recover.
+ Is moxibustion available?
Yes. Moxibustion is a gentle warming therapy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It may be recommended as part of your treatment plan, often in combination with acupuncture.
+ Is acupuncture painful?
Most patients describe acupuncture as gentle. Sensations vary, and Connie adjusts the approach to keep your visit comfortable. You may feel a small pinch, warmth, heaviness, or mild sensation at the point.
+ How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments depends on your goals, health history, and response to care. Connie will discuss a suggested plan after your first visit.
+ Do you offer direct billing for insurance?
