Cupping Therapy in Toronto

A traditional therapy used for tension, circulation, and recovery.

Cupping uses suction to support circulation, release muscle tension, and help the body recover from tightness and stagnation. It is often combined with acupuncture for enhanced results.

What is cupping

Cupping involves placing glass or plastic cups on the skin and creating suction, which gently draws the skin and superficial muscle layer upward. This promotes blood flow and may help release tight fascia and muscle tissue.

Who may consider cupping

Cupping may be considered by people with muscle tension, back or shoulder tightness, or those seeking recovery support. It is also used for cold and congestion symptoms in some TCM approaches.

What to expect

Cups are typically left in place for 5–15 minutes. You may feel a pulling sensation that is generally not painful. Temporary circular marks may appear and usually fade within a few days.
